Job Opening for Computer Systems Analyst
Computer Systems Analyst needed w/Master’s degree or Foreign Equivalent in Computer Information Sciences or Computer Science or Computer Engineering and one (1) year experience as Computer Systems Analyst performing following job duties:
- Research medication-related insurance claim denials.
- Responsible for following up on unpaid and underpaid pharmacy claims.
- Complete appeals to insurance payers.
- Monitor and report outcomes of denial, review, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Communicate effectively to include written and verbal forms of communication.
- Responsible for NDC billing data fields.
- Analyze and review drug and drug-related billing denials for medical necessity and any other Coding specific denial reason.
- Assure appropriate reimbursement by payers by comparing actual versus expected Medication reimbursement rates.
- Follow Medicare rules and regulations, Medicaid, insurance-based Prior Authorizations, and clinical coverage guidelines.
- Use PrimeRx software.

HEALTH EDUCATOR – SUPERVISING COORDINATOR – BRONX, NY.
SVP Drugs Corp. d/b/a Sinai RX Pharmacy is seeking to fill this position in its Bronx, NY office.
The Health Educator position is responsible for providing medication therapy management on eligible patients, comprehensive medication review, patient education, monitoring, physician consultations, patient compliance consultations and targeted intervention. The position will also encourage vaccinations, establish relationships with local doctors and the community, work with facility personnel to establish care strategies for chronic diseases that are prevalent, and educate staff on new methods of approach to chronic disease management. Responsibilities include:
- Plan, develop, and design health education and training programs, including preparation, facilitation, and follow-up.
- Evaluate programs; perform research on relevant topics and develop and/or revise curriculum modules and/or presentation materials as appropriate.
- Present lectures and training to groups and/or individuals, as appropriate.
- Coordinate the activities of consultants, agencies, and other providers involved in specific programs.
- Participate in the development of marketing and promotional goals and strategies, as appropriate;
- Serve as a point of contact in the area of expertise; refer clients to other support services, such as medical evaluation and treatment, social services, and employment services, as appropriate.
- Prepare and disseminate educational and informational materials.
- Maintain current knowledge base on specific health issues, particularly in area of expertise.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements: Master’s Degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, Health Education, Integrative Wellness, or a related field (Nursing, Public Administration/Public Health). 24 months experience as a Health Educator or Health Education Specialist.
Position Hours: Flex schedule – M-F / 9 am-5 pm – unless otherwise arranged.
